Revive's accountability is threefold. We are governed by a group of elders locally, we are connected to a covering nationally and are also connected to a group of pastors and ministers in South Lake County as well.
1 Peter 5:1-2 (AMP), "Therefore, I strongly urge the elders among you [pastors, spiritual leaders of the church], as a fellow elder and as an eyewitness [called to testify] of the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory that is to be revealed: shepherd and guide and protect the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not [motivated] for shameful gain, but with wholehearted enthusiasm."
Revive is governed by a board of elders who fulfill several functions in the church... from finances, pastoral care, leadership accountability and department management, these men serve Revive to insure all is done well, with excellence and for the glory of God alone.
Our overall covering for Revive is Apostolic Team Ministries or ATM. ATM is an apostolic resource center of a tightly knit, interdependently related churches, ministries, and leaders dedicated to equipping the church (local and global) to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Disciples make a tangible difference in the world and ATM believes that part of that difference is made though passionate and intentional pursuit of the Holy Spirit. That proper relationship with the Holy Spirit drives us to commit to relating together over the purposes and assignments of God in our lifetime. Click the logo to find out more about ATM.
Revive is also closely aligned with the South Lake Pastors' Fellowship. This is a group of like-minded and like-hearted pastors who meet weekly, pray weekly and have a commitment to work together in authentic unity. This group conducts quarterly ONE gatherings which meet at the City Center in downtown Clermont and also partners together in evangelism and intercession.
